It's been since June since we had our monthly slams at Iovino's. I've recently found out that there is a new poetry slam in town. Check it out!

poetry slam wednesday - Theme is SEX: Sponsored by MARS

Hey folks!

Wednesday is our monthly poetry slam at Iovino's - but this month, there's a twist!

MARS (Male Advocates for Responsible Sexuality) is sponsoring the slam this month, bringing in prizes and advocating for sexual awareness.

So the theme of this month's slam is SEX!

Please come, share some poetry, get some good cheap drinks, and read or hear something naughty. ;)

Hey folks,

Our monthly first Wednesday of the month open mic is tomorrow!

in the new condo building on 1st and Washington
Downtown, Corvallis
sign-up starts at 9:00
open mic starts at 9:30

Please come and share some music, poetry, performance art, spoken work, or whatnot.

Attendance has been down at the open mic, and this is the test to see whether we should continue it. So show up and show support for local art. There's drink specials, too — great incentive!
