TOMORROW, SATURDAY, AUGUST 12:

the first-ever
ALL-OREGON SLAM!
Featuring an open mic and teams from Corvallis, Bend, and Eugene!
Next Saturday evening, August 12th, at the World Cafe on 4th & Blair [in Eugene]- we're starting the show at 8pm sharp!
This is an all-ages venue with great food, beer & wine and we're throwing this party out on the patio. $3-$5 sliding scale.

AND on Sunday, August 13th - the very next night - come to Sam Bond's for a feature from the winning slam team and a HAIKU SHOWDOWN!

THE HAIKU SHOWDOWN IS NOW A MONTHLY EVENT! Yes, it's true, so now you have no excuse for not writing poetry! This will also be an opportunity to bring some more national features to Eugene to perform for y'all. Sam Bond's will host a Haiku Showdown on (more-or-less) the second Sunday of every month. Here are some upcoming dates: Aug 13, Sept 17, Oct 22, Nov 12 & Dec 10. Unleash your inner NINJA!
